1. Who we are
Find a Driver is a marketplace that introduces travellers to independent local drivers. We are not a transport company and we do not operate vehicles. Drivers listed on the site are self-employed and responsible for their own licences, insurance and vehicles.
2. Requests and bookings
Sending a trip request is free and does not create a booking. A booking exists only once you and the driver have agreed on the date, times, itinerary and price through the conversation on our platform.
3. Deposit and payment
To unlock contact with a driver you pay a deposit. The deposit is already included in the total price displayed and is credited toward the cost of the driver's service. The remaining balance is paid directly to the driver, normally at the end of the day of service.
4. Cancellations
If you cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Deposits are refundable when a driver cancels, becomes unreachable, or fails to provide the agreed service. Cancellations made by the traveller within 48 hours of the trip may not be refunded.
5. Conduct
Travellers and drivers agree to communicate respectfully through the platform, provide accurate information, and comply with local laws. We may suspend accounts that attempt to bypass the platform, misrepresent themselves, or behave abusively.
6. Liability
Find a Driver is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent drivers, including delays, itinerary changes, vehicle condition or accidents. Our responsibility is limited to the introduction service and to amounts paid to us.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The version published on this page applies to any request made after it is published.
