Hiring a private driver for Angkor Wat

The Angkor Archaeological Park covers roughly 400 km², so almost every visitor needs transport between the temples. A car with a driver means air conditioning between stops, a place to leave water and camera gear, and the freedom to change the order of the circuit during the day. Drivers listed here are the same private drivers in Siem Reap — there are no separate Angkor-only profiles.

Which circuit to choose

The small circuit takes in Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom with Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm, and fits comfortably into one day. The grand circuit adds Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som and Pre Rup. With more time, drivers commonly add Banteay Srei about 35 km north, Phnom Kulen for the waterfall, or the floating villages on Tonlé Sap in the afternoon.

What the price covers
